
Submission Guidelines
Greetings! We, at Psytivity, aim to publish your ideas and thoughts in form of a blog. We support good research and writing skills and we hold no bias to any topic or inclination that an author takes, till it is well researched and justified. We review articles based on the necessary guidelines and if the author meets the required criteria.

Students and Professionals from the college can write and publish with Psytivity (Open articles would be informed for). We ensure utmost care in our review, rejection, and publication process and in turn, we ask the authors to abide by certain instructions while submitting.
Submission Guidelines for Articles:

All college students, graduates, postgraduates, academicians from or affiliated with the college are eligible to submit a blog for consideration of publication.

The word limit set for the blog is 1200 to 2000 words which shall be strictly adhered to and if exceeded, could be a reason for the rejection of a blog, unless justified. The word limit allows for the expression of personal opinions, the inclusion of testimonies, presenting analysis etc.

The font to be used should be Times New Roman and the font size should be 12 for the main body, 14+ Bold for Sub-heading, and 16+ Bold for Main Heading. The text should be Justified with 1.5 Line Spacing. Margins should be moderate.

The author should make sure that the Title of the Blog, Name of the Author, Name of the institution, and Year is mentioned at the start of the blog itself. This is necessary for publication purposes.

We allow for co-authorship for a maximum of 2 (two) authors.

The submissions are to be made to the Email ID submissions.psytivity@gmail.com.

Kindly name your blog in the format of Name_Topic_Blog and the subject line of the submission email as Submission: Name_Topic_Blog.

Submissions will not be accepted in any other format than .doc or .docx.

The plagiarism limit for a submission to be considered is 20% and it will be strictly adhered to and if exceeded, will lead to rejection of the blog.

References are mandatory in a blog towards the end in APA format.

We will appreciate the provision of a creative angle to your piece for a greater engagement of the readers. Since the articles are usually open, we allow more room for the presentation of facts in a concise manner, and thus, this creative freedom must be utilized in the best possible manner.
We are also open to submissions of articles catering to literary reviews, movie reviews, opinion pieces, columns, satires, reflections and analytical pieces. Kindly note that these formats are not limiting in nature; we welcome well-researched submissions on a diverse range of topics.

Process Ahead​

After the submission of the Article, the editorial board will edit and review the submissions.
​
​Whether your blog is approved for publication or rejected will be communicated to you in 7 to 15 days, along with brief feedback and reasons (in case of rejection) for the same.
The total publications will be featured on our blog homepage and Instagram page.

NOTE: Approval and rejection is the sole discretion of the editorial board.
