PSYCHSPIRE
Psychspire is the Society of Department of Applied Psychology at Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, University of Delhi. The department was established in 2006. It takes up various initiatives inside and outside the department, to spread awareness concerning various prospects and fields of psychology.
Psychspire is driven by a deep interest in psychology, and it has taken upon itself, the responsibility of taking essential steps towards promoting mental health and knowledge about different psychological topics. This society has been persevering for a long time, and the determination and passion of its members have made it possible for the society to achieve a plethora of milestones, by initiating a conversation about significant topics. It aims to create a consequential impact on our current society and hopes to reach greater heights in the coming future.

The Blog of the Department of Applied Psychology is an initiative by Psychspire, started in March 2019. It focuses on spreading mental health awareness through digital media and aims to explore the psychological aspects of various topics and work towards eliminating the deep-rooted stigmas and stereotypes associated with mental health. Team Psytivity tries to bring novel ideas to the table for our readers to help them introspect which leaves a deep impact on their lives.
Psychovision is the magazine initiated by Psychspire - The Department of Applied Psychology, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, University of Delhi. It is a compilation of divergent visions & voices of how psychology and mental health has a grave impact on people's lives. Aiming to serve as an interactive platform for students & teachers across the country to showcase their thought-provoking ideas through articles, poetry, and artwork, authors across the country and from various Universities have contributed to this venture.
